The mystery of who was trying to kill off Sebastian and his line was a little predictable and contrived, but it’s not so bothersome. After becoming hooked, she read close to novels in one year, deciding that romance was her true calling instead of the literary short stories and suspenses she had been writing. I really like romance with strong female characters so this one was a good choice.

I liked how Ms Schroeder connected the two characters and made their relationship work, there are also other surprises like Schroedeg heritage and family ties. She has had over 25 short stories, novellas and novels published in four years with seven different publishers.
