Alif by Umera Ahmed. Her fifth book Kaf-e-Aina was a random collection of her poetry which was published posthumously in Shakir’s first book, Khushbu Fragrancewas published in [4: Hardcoverpages. She also held several degrees and another master’s degree in Bank Administration.
This verse was the first introduction to me of Parveen Shakir and it left me with the eagerness and curiosity to read more pf her work. In she was appointed the second secretary, Federal Bureau of Revenue in Islamabad.
